Partners Karen Amiel and Ann Yaffe Phillips have each had long and successful careers in the art world. Amiel & Phillips was founded in response to our experiences working with clients and their designers and the unique challenges of choosing art for specific environments. Our goal is to make it easy for architects and designers to offer art purchases as part of a design project. Amiel & Phillips provides superb paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs and prints in a broad price range, selected in collaboration with architects or designers and their clients. These works can be specifically chosen or commissioned for designated locations in an interior or exterior environment. We provide art for an entire project or add individual pieces to an existing collection. We also help clients divest themselves of art no longer appropriate for new interiors or residences. Our substantial experience and credibility provide you with an extraordinary wealth of knowledge, sources and know-how in the oftentimes mysterious and opaque art world. Our fee structure is based on a percentage over cost for each work purchased, shared with the architect or designer, as well as other special services billed on an hourly or project basis.
